Century Music Group is a boutique Nashville Entertainment Company providing Publishing, Management, and Record Label services for music artists. The company was founded in 2000 by Nashville music industry veteran, Art Ward.
CMG Publishing focuses on songwriters and music catalog for placement in major and independent label recordings, film and television and other music licensing opportunities.
CMG Management handles career administration, development and representation to major record labels, publishing companies, booking agencies and other industry-related companies.
CMG Label Services covers a full suite of record label related services for signed and unsigned artists. These services include, but are not limited to artist development, music and video production, distribution, promotion, publicity, and marketing.

Art Ward is President of Nashville based Century Music Group, a boutique Nashville entertainment company providing Publishing, Management, and Record Label services for music artists.
Currently, Ward focuses on signing, developing, and producing CMG artists and clients. He also oversees the administration, promotion, management and marketing of such artists.
Ward is an accomplished musician and can be found performing on various Nashville recording sessions. His main instrument is the bass.
Ward has worked on both the creative and business sides of the music industry. Ward began his music industry career in the mid-1990s. He has worked at the Major and Independent Label level in Nashville, as well as various other positions in Publishing, Management, Marketing, Publicity, Promotions, Booking, and Radio.
Ward studied music at Indiana University, Bloomington in 1988 before transferring to Middle Tennessee State University in 1990 as a Recording Industry Management major.
