Music Promotion Campaign Terms
Effective Date: September 16, 2026
Century Music Group | Nashville
These Music Promotion Campaign Terms (“Campaign Terms”) apply to Music Promotion services purchased from Century Music Group. By purchasing a Music Promotion campaign and acknowledging these Campaign Terms during the purchase process, the purchaser agrees to the terms below.
1. Campaign Services
Your purchase includes professional campaign strategy, management, targeted promotional outreach appropriate to the campaign level purchased, campaign monitoring, and a final campaign report.
Century Music Group determines the specific outreach, promotional channels, contacts, timing, strategy, and allocation of campaign resources based on the campaign level purchased, the individual release, and the opportunities Century Music Group considers appropriate for the project.
2. One Release
Each campaign applies only to the artist and release identified with the purchase. A campaign may not be transferred to another artist or substituted for another release without Century Music Group’s prior approval.
3. Campaign Timing
Purchase does not automatically begin the approximately 30-day active campaign period. Following purchase, Century Music Group will review the campaign information and required materials and establish an appropriate campaign start date based on the release schedule, campaign preparation, and promotional strategy.
The approximately 30-day active campaign period begins on the start date confirmed by Century Music Group. Timing may vary based on release dates, availability of required materials, third-party response periods, promotional opportunities, or circumstances outside Century Music Group’s reasonable control.
4. Campaign Preparation
Century Music Group may begin strategy, research, preparation, administration, communications, or other campaign work before the confirmed active campaign start date. Commencement of this work constitutes commencement of services even though the approximately 30-day active campaign period may begin later.
5. No Guaranteed Results or Placements
The purchaser understands that the campaign fee is payment for professional promotional services and campaign resources, not for playlist placement, media coverage, radio airplay, streams, followers, audience growth, engagement, sales, revenue, or any other particular result.
No specific placement, coverage, airplay, response, audience metric, or other outcome is promised or guaranteed.
6. Independent Third Parties
Playlist curators, streaming services, media outlets, journalists, radio stations, social platforms, and other third parties operate independently of Century Music Group.
Century Music Group does not control their editorial decisions, responses, policies, algorithms, availability, timing, continued placement or coverage, or other actions. Century Music Group is not responsible for a third party’s decision to accept, reject, modify, discontinue, or remove any placement, coverage, airplay, or other opportunity.
7. Artist Materials and Authorization
The purchaser represents that they have all rights, licenses, permissions, and authority necessary for Century Music Group to use, reproduce, transmit, submit, and otherwise use the music, recordings, artwork, photographs, artist name, likeness, biography, links, and other materials provided as reasonably necessary to perform the campaign.
The purchaser authorizes Century Music Group to communicate with appropriate third parties on behalf of the artist for purposes of performing the campaign.
8. Artist Responsibilities and Changes
The purchaser agrees to provide accurate information and requested materials in a timely manner. Delays, incomplete information, unavailable materials, or changes to the release date, release, artist identity, distributor, artwork, or other material campaign information may delay or require modification of the campaign.
Material changes requested after work has begun may require additional services or fees. Any additional charges will be communicated to and agreed to by the purchaser before they are incurred.
9. Cancellation and Refunds
Before Century Music Group begins campaign preparation or other campaign services, the purchaser may request cancellation and a refund.
Once Century Music Group has begun strategy, research, preparation, administration, outreach, communications, or other work associated with the campaign, campaign fees are non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law or if Century Music Group is unable to provide the purchased services.
Campaign services may begin before the confirmed active campaign start date.
10. Reporting and Available Data
Campaign reports reflect outreach, activity, results, and metrics reasonably available to Century Music Group. Third parties may not provide complete or independently verifiable data, and Century Music Group does not guarantee the availability of any particular metric, analytics, or reporting information.
11. Circumstances Outside Reasonable Control
Century Music Group is not responsible for delays or inability to perform caused by circumstances reasonably outside its control, including platform or service outages, changes in third-party policies or operations, acts or omissions of third parties, governmental actions, natural disasters, widespread communications failures, or similar circumstances.
When reasonably possible, Century Music Group may adjust campaign timing or strategy in response to such circumstances.
12. Additional Terms
These Campaign Terms are incorporated into and form part of the agreement between the purchaser and Century Music Group for the Music Promotion campaign. The purchase is also subject to Century Music Group’s general Terms of Service and applicable Store Policies presented during checkout.
If there is a conflict between these Campaign Terms and Century Music Group’s general Terms of Service concerning the Music Promotion service, these Campaign Terms will control with respect to that service.
